St Paul's Pilgrims Walking Group

On Saturday 14th January 2012 eighteen pilgrims took to the West Sussex countryside. We were lucky with the weather, a crisp frosty start with a glorious blue sky!

This new social club for the Parish was developed after our successful Parish Mission in September 2011. One very enjoyable aspect of the Mission was the sense of fellowship that we felt by coming together with parishioners from other Mass communities. The Saint Paul's Pilgrims Walking Group aims to continue to build on that sense of community.

The cross-country walks will incorporate the local area around Haywards Heath, and as the terrain includes woodland and farmland, sturdy, waterproof shoes are recommended. Each walk should cover about 4 miles and last for approximately 2 hours.

Following the walk, weary ramblers are encouraged to adjourn to the pub for further friendship building!

Dogs may be welcome, but it is recommended to ring prior to each ramble for advice. The walks will take place on a monthly basis and full details will be published in the Parish Bulletin and on this page about 2 weeks before the event.
